The SMART Premium and Capital Support Principles as well as the HLCG’s recommendations for enhancing the global climate and disaster risk finance and insurance (CDRFI) architecture helped inform Germany’s G7-programme and the ambition to gradually develop a global protection shield against climate risks. Also, the V20’s Climate Prosperity Plans, currently under development to optimize the integration of climate priorities and resilience into development policy, will provide ample opportunities for cooperation on CDRFI.\nThe 6th HLCG meeting aims to collect feedback regarding the Global Shield against Climate Risks with a specific focus on the demands towards a global financial structure for climate risks including its governance, based on the HLCG’s recommendations how to strengthen the Global Architecture for Climate and Disaster Risk Finance and Insurance (Global CDRFI Architecture).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]\n
